Description of Central Air:

Central air conditioning, commonly referred to as central air, is an air conditioning system which uses ducts to distribute cooled and/or dehumified air to more than on room, or uses pipes to distribute chilled water to heat exchangers in more than on room, and which is NOT plugged in to a standard electrical outlet.

A good way to tell if you have central air is to check whether or not your air conditioner is controlled by a thermostat. If it is, you probably have central air conditioning.
