A potential service disruption at Canada Post starting as early as November 3, 2024, could delay the delivery of mailed Essex Powerlines bills and any payments mailed to Essex Powerlines.
With few exceptions, Essex Powerlines will continue to mail bills on the regular billing dates to customers using Canada Post.
Customers should prepare for delays in receiving their mailed bills and for their mailed payments to reach Essex Powerlines due to the possible work stoppages, rotating strikes, or lockouts at Canada Post.
Customers who have signed up for Paperless Billing will continue to receive uninterrupted email notifications regarding their bills.
Please note that customers are still responsible for keeping their account current through the duration of the potential Canada Post service disruption. Failure to do so will still result in late fees.

Credit Card
Essex Powerlines provides customers with an easy way to make payments by credit card online or by telephone. Credit card payments go through Paymentus. Paymentus charges a percentage of your cost as a service fee. Customers are responsible for this additional fee, as Essex Powerlines does not absorb these costs. Please note that Paymentus does not accept American Express.
Bank
You can pay your bill in person at a bank. Just make sure to bring your bill with you to make a payment on your account! Or you can set up online Interac payments to Essex Powerlines through your financial institution.
