Go Green: School Edition WIN $1,000
Essex Powerlines Corporation is committed to building a sustainable environment and bring awareness to this initiative within the community.
Essex Powerlines invites the youth to show how they reduce their carbon footprint for a chance to $1,000.
GO GREEN: School Edition is open to all students and/or classes from schools located in Essex Powerlines service territory (Amherstburg, LaSalle, Leamington and Tecumseh). Submissions may be a creative poster, graphic design or a short video.

Deadline for submissions is Friday May 6, 2022. Voting will take place through an internal panel of judges and by the public via Facebook (@Essexpowerlines) Monday May 16 -Sunday May 29, 2022. The School Council of the winner will receive $1,000.
“Reducing carbon footprint has always been important for Essex Powerlines,” said Joe Barile, General Manager of Essex Powerlines. “An example of this is the paperless billing option for our customers. Including the youth for this contest, will increase the conversation around the community, which I think will bring many benefits.”
