Routine Electrical System Maintenance in Tecumseh Begins July 21
Beginning Tuesday, July 21, Essex Powerlines crews will be in Tecumseh completing routine maintenance and inspections on our local electricity system. This work is expected to continue for approximately 4–6 weeks.
As part of this work, our employees may be working along neighbourhood streets and may need to access customer properties to inspect electrical equipment and connections that help deliver safe and reliable power to homes and businesses.
Our crews will be working Monday through Friday during regular daytime hours. They will be travelling in clearly marked Essex Powerlines vehicles and wearing official Essex Powerlines uniforms for easy identification.
Routine maintenance is an important part of keeping our electricity system safe, reliable and ready to serve our community. Customers will never be asked for payment as part of this work.
