FOUR OUTSTANDING STUDENTS AWARDED $1,000 BURSARIES FOR POST SECONDARY EDUCATION
Essex Power is pleased to announce the 2023 recipients of the Powering Future Leaders Bursaries, aimed at supporting the educational journeys of local youth pursuing studies in the areas of study that support the utility industry and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
For the third year, Powering Future Leaders Bursary has been available to local students to help alleviate the financial cost of post secondary education. Graduating secondary school students were encouraged to apply. The four selected students exhibit academic commitment, community involvement and dedication:
Emma Hanley University of Windsor | Honours Mechanical Engineering with Co-op and Aerospace
Ethan Hunt University of Waterloo | Computer Engineering
Kate Bouffard University of Windsor | General Science
Maeve Gatt University of Guelph | Wildlife Conservation and Honours Biology
