Turning Paperless Billing into Warmth for Local Communities

This November, Essex Powerlines is encouraging customers to make a small switch that can make a big difference through its Paperless for Warmth campaign.

From November 1 to 30, for every customer who switches to paperless billing, Essex Powerlines will donate winter essentials, including hats, mittens and scarves, to help individuals and families in need across its service territory.

Donated items will be distributed through three local community organizations: Salvation Army Leamington Community Church & Community & Family Services, Amherstburg Food and Fellowship Mission and the Community Support Centre of Essex County. Together, these organizations will help ensure the winter essentials reach those who need them most in Amherstburg, LaSalle, Leamington and Tecumseh.

“Our Paperless for Warmth campaign is about turning a simple everyday choice into something meaningful for our communities,” said Steve Ray, COO of Essex Power Corporation. “By switching to paperless billing, our customers can enjoy a more convenient way to manage their electricity bills while helping us provide warmth to those who need it most this winter.”

Customers can participate by enrolling in paperless billing through their MyAccount portal, contacting Essex Powerlines Customer Service at 519-737-6640 or using the online chat feature during business hours.
