ESSEX POWER INVESTS IN THE FUTURE WITH STEM BURSARIES
Essex Power Corporation is proud to announce the recipients of its annual bursary program, awarded to local Grade 12 students pursing post-secondary education in the areas of study that build and support our industry (i.e. Powerline Technician, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) field of study). These bursaries reflect Essex Power’s commitment to investing in the next generation of innovators and leaders who will shape a more sustainable and energy-smart future.
Now in its fifth year, the Powering Future Leaders Bursary continues to support local students by helping ease the financial burden of post-secondary education with awarding $1,000 to each recipient. New in 2025, an additional designated Bursary opportunity was provided to a verified Caldwell First Nation student. This year’s five recipients stood out for their strong academic commitment, active community involvement and clear dedication to their future goals.
