Essex Powerlines Customers Support Children & Youth Mental Health
That’s a wrap! Over $8,000 will be donated to Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare– Children and Youth Mental Health Programs as part of Essex Powerlines Paperless Campaign.
The two-month Campaign ran from November 1 – December 31, 2021 and encouraged customers to enrol in paperless billing. Essex Powerlines added a community element which for every customer that enrolled in paperless billing, $10 would be donated to the Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare Foundation in support of Children and Youth Mental Health Programs. In addition, Essex Powerlines promised to match the contributions.
“This is one of our most successful campaigns, and we have to start by thanking our customers,” said Joe Barile, General Manager of Essex Powerlines. “$8,160.00 will be donated on behalf of Essex Powerlines and its customers. We know this will make a difference and very pleased to see the participation of our customers who believe in making a positive environmental impact while also helping contribute to this important community organization.”
“We are overwhelmed by the incredible success of Essex Power’s Go Paperless Campaign in support of our children and youth mental health programs at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare”, states Barb Sebben, Executive Director of the Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare Foundation. “They say it takes a village and through such generous support of campaigns such as this, our communities’ youth and their families know that they have the support of an entire village behind them. The support of Essex Power and their customers speaks volumes, children’s mental health matters!”
