Support Children and Youth Mental Health, When Enrolling In Paperless Billing
With a community-based element, Essex Powerlines Corporation (EPL) is encouraging customers to switch from the traditional bill mailing method to paperless.
During the months of November and December, for every customer that enrols in paperless billing, EPL will donate $10 to Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital Foundation (HDGHF) – Children and Youth Mental Health Program.
“In additional to the $10 donation per customer that enrols in paperless billing,” said Joe Barile, General Manger of Essex Powerlines. “Essex Powerlines will match the total contribution. Here at Essex Powerlines we continue to partner ourselves with a variety of organizations that help the community. We are grateful to have our customers involved in making a difference and give back locally.”
“We are grateful to have the support of community minded organizations, such as Essex Powerlines and their customers supporting this go paperless funding initiative”, states Sonja Grbevski, HDGH VP Clinical Services – Mental Health & Addictions, Executive Lead – Addictions & Collaborative Programs. “Like Essex Powerlines, our Children & Youth Mental Health Programs serve a number of families throughout Essex County. Through our video, phone and onsite services at the Regional Children’s Centre and Glengarda school, our inter-professional team specializing in children & youth’s mental health conducted over 15,000 client visits last year alone. Children’s mental wellness has struggled immensely as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the support of our community through initiatives such as this, we can help ensure that local programs are accessible for our youth and their families when its needed most.”
To enrol in paperless billing, EPL customers should visit MyAccount or contact EPL Customer Service Representatives at (519)-737-6640.
The campaign will run until December 31, 2021.
